I still have my unlimited data plan and will not risk using their upgrade. I also recently lost my employee discount (switched jobs and they no longer offered it). I did buy the ip5 and ip5s outright without using my upgrade but still kept the unlimited data. My wife and I simply sold our last generation device to BuyBackWorld. We got very high prices since we locked in our quotes a few weeks before the actually new iphone launch date. Selling your old iphone (or other old phones) will subsidize the cost of your upgrade.

Little bit confused.

When new iPhone 5s arrives.

The activation instructions say to call this 1-877 number to activate. When the telephone prompt says which number to agree to the contract. Do you punch in the unlimited lines phone number?

Or can't u just turn on the iPhone 5s and it will activated itself on the tiered data line?

I know that. But the guys on Howard forums says when u call the 1-877 number (from a different number per verizon instructions). They are asked to agree to the new 2 year contract. But when they put the tier data line number in phone systems their activation doesn't go through.
