I have a family plan. My son's line is now upgradeable, but mine isn't. Can I get a 4S on his line, and then switch it with my 4? The boy shouldn't have a better phone than his old man. lol

If you login to verizonwireless.com with your account, you should be able to see all upgrades available and transfer the upgrade from his account to your account. This would greatly lessen the hassle of getting it on his line and then switching it to yours when you can do everything online now.

What was said above.

If you have issues with that, though, yes, you can. I did that with my wifes phone.

Simply order it on his line. When it comes you'll have to activate it real fast on his line per their upgrade policy. Then just change the MEID back online or just call up CS and tell them and they'll switch the MEID's so the lines are right and you're set to go.

Only takes a few mins.

You just need to do what's called an Alternate Upgrade. You'll upgrade, but it extends the contract on his #. No big deal and not complicated. Happens all the time. Get the phone and be happy.:)
