With Verizon, when traveling outside the US, can you make and receive calls via wifi with no additional charges?

This is what AT&T said today.
"When traveling abroad, a call placed to the United States or received from the United States using Wi-Fi calling will incur no long distance charges, a feature that should be highly useful to AT&T customers who are visiting another country and calling home."

I would think the same applies to Verizon...after all you can FaceTime across international borders on wifi.

Just because AT&T announced it doesn't mean it's free on Verizon too.
I'd wait till you hear definate answer or call Verizon to find out for sure before you start calling and racking up roaming minutes.

Right there in the faq, wifi calls to us numbers are free even when traveling internationally. I assume the op meant to US based numbers. Depending on your plan calls to international numbers can be charged.
