Carrier Verizon Wireless Upgrade Date Change

Has anyone else noticed their upgrade dates are changed so you can upgrade to the iPhone 7? I have two lines that are eligible for an upgrade now. Has anyone else seen this happen this year?
 
There are almost always a few people that get it done by a bit or sometimes more than a bit, and at the same time many others that don't succeed.
