If you want a prepaid iPhone 5 then I say return it to apple and buy the GSM to use with another network. You have 30 days from date of purchase.

you're not going to get LTE on any prepaid.. might as well just keep your phone and use atts prepaid or straight talk and get hspa+ or even tmo if its available in your area.

no need to return it

Didn't know that... I am on T-mobile and I am getting 15mbps on their HSPA+. That might be a good option. Their LTE-Advance network wont be up till after the summer though.

Thats great hspa+ speeds! i wish they had their network ready here.

I bought a verizon iPhone 5 from the apple store at full price as I visiting and called verizon to have a prepaid plan activated on the iPhone 5 and the sales guy said I can't activate my iPhone 5 with verizon on a prepaid plan even though I paid the full price for the phone already he wanted me to signal for a contract which I can't because I don't have a bank account or SSN here is this for real ?

you have to find someone that works at a verizon store and get them to do it for you, i recently bought an iphone 5 myself. it took me a while but i found a guy, and he hooked me up. upgraded from my iphone 4 to iphone 5 $70 month prepaid plan. please dont let this purchase go to waste.
