All of a sudden (within the last hour) I am not able to use my apple ID, for anything. I get the verrify your apple ID screen when trying to do anything (update apps DL new apps even log into find my friends) I go online and try and login and it just asks me to verrify my apple ID using the email address. I do and never get the email. whats up with this? Anyone else have this problem out of the blue? Keep in mind this is the Apple ID I have used for YEARS and I have not done ANY account changes to this account?

Mine is doing this as well. I have no earthly idea what is going on. I'm going to give it some time to resolve and maybe call AppleCare tomorrow.

Maybe this is part of Apple getting ready to launch iTunes Match?

Same here. I sent an email to Apple and will post if resolved. Same iTunes account for 8 years.

I talked with AppleCare today and they had no idea what was going on and just referred me to email iTunes.

All they said was that some changes were made to iCloud yesterday that could be causing it.

I got this message as well. I clicked on the link to verify my apple ID and I never seem to get the email. I did this several times. I finally found the e-mail in my "junk" file. I verified my apple ID and everything is working again. Check your junk mail.

Thanks for the tip, eyedoc_00. I checked my junk and unfortunately nothing was there. Any other thoughts are most welcome.

Okay, so I figured out what was going on with my situation.

I went through the "find out" Apple ID page and went through it to "see if I had an Apple ID". Now, I know we all now we have an Apple ID, but it identified an Apple ID from who knows how long ago which was my current ID minus the @mac.com

I followed the instructions to get access to it and found the primary email as being the same that I have always had for my Apple ID which did have the @mac.com ending. I changed the primary email, logged back into the Apple ID page for the ID iTunes was telling me "needed to be verified" but "was already verified by another ID" and was able to then change it back to how it was and was immediately verified.

I know that is a long, backward way to get it working but it worked for me and I hope it works for you guys as well.

Sent an email to apple support, and they verified my email for me. Works great now.
