Vertical line on iPhone X photos

Just now, I noticed that when texting a horizontal photo, not vertical, to someone, that the photo is displayed in the chat with a horizontal line. However, this line is not visible on the photo or at any time when viewing the photo.

Anyone else seeing this?

I see that on my 8 plus as well. And like you, it’s only in that thumbnail and not the actual picture.

I noticed this on my iPhone 7 Plus as well.

Appears to be more a software issue. Are you running iOS 11.1?

I can’t see a horizontal line in the photo, where is it!
