To transfer files like contacts, music, videos etc etc.... It would be nice to not have to plug in all the time and manage files through iTunes. I guess iCloud would alleviate all this though.

Yeah true, you can't update an iPad, iPhone and iPod touch all at once on a 13/15" MBP though, which sucks.

Went to the apple store for a free workshop. Has anybody ever done this? It was actually very informative and the guy seemed to know a lot about the product. I learned a lot but most of the time was spent learning about iPhoto. iPhoto is probably the best pre-installed photo software I have ever seen.

The good thing about apple is that they have employees that know the product. Also they all seem pretty loyal to the company. Oh and he also told me to get rid of the anti virus software

Too slow. It would take all night. Plus you have to charge anyways, so just leave it in the computer and it will charge.

you really don't need an anti-virus program running, as long as you browse with a brain and have the firewall on.
