I always carried my 4S and 5 "naked" and never had a problem...not even a scratch. But the 6 feels slick and I wanted to try a case. I love the case. It feels great and I like the look. The feel reminds me of a G20 with new Hogue grips as you're touching off a few Cor-Bons in bear country. The only thing ridiculous here is your perception. At least you probably will save the government same money in the short term...
