D dojoman macrumors 68000 Original poster Oct 16, 2014 #1 After I upgraded my MacBook Air mid 2011 model to Yosemite it takes a long time to shutdown. Normally it only takes 2-3 seconds now it's more than a minute, I can see spinning wheel keeps going. Is anyone seeing this?

S Samlk macrumors newbie Oct 17, 2014 #4 I'm having the same issue. Having a 2008 Alu MB. Shutdown takes about 2.30 minutes to 3minutes. Tried disabling icloud but still the issue is same.

B Boerf macrumors newbie Oct 18, 2014 #7 Update: Problem solved: had to uninstall an old Version of Paralles. Shutdown now in under 5 sec.
