I have had my 15 inch MBP for about a month now and ever since I got it there has been a very high pitched buzzing/whirring noise coming from inside of it. I know it's not the fans because those are MUCH louder when they eventually kick on. But recently my computer has begun making a very deep, loud, clicking noise whenever I run more than 3 programs or so. On top of all of this it is running extremely slow. Is my hard drive shot?

A clicking noise is usually a symptom of a failing hard drive. Have you checked its SMART status in Disk Utility?

In any case, get it back to Apple.

Yes, this usually indicates a dying hard drive. A month? you didn't do anything like drop it did you? Because unless you did, the hard drive was faulty in the first place.

Even if the drive isn't failing, you should back up those files just in case.
