Here is a new review of the Motorola ROKR itunes phone. He loves the design of the phone 😕 and the implementation of itunes. The only downside he sees is the ONE HOUR time to move 100 songs onto the phone.

Not really sure about that, my 1Gb shuffle syncs 200 songs in about 10 minutes with my G4 iMac (USB 1.1) so the ROKR should take about 5 minutes...

I would like to know what the external speakers sound like. Does it allow you to use your iTunes purchased music as your ring tone, etc? No one seems to mention those features.
As of now, I think it's pretty pathetic for such as hyped product. I'm not sure how many people actually want to listen to music on their mobile phone. The design is old, technology (USB 1.1) is old, and it supposedly lacks iSync support. Blah. 😱

I'm pretty sure in the speech Jobs said that the Phone is USB 2.0 If you still have a computer with USB 1.0, sucks to be you.

But...hmmm...no bluetooth, and USB1.1. I dunno about that. I have gotten very used to my cron'd hourly autosyncs with my Nokia.... 😀

Dont know what the fuss is all about really- the Sony Ericsson w800 is a much better phone- and it can even play AAC's.
It wont synch with iTunes, but you can easily copy into the Memory Stick though.

When the phone flops, I wonder if they will blame Apple. They may say that users want to be able to purchase songs directly from the phone for $2.99. Apple wouldn't allow them to do that.
It is strange they didn't use their flagship thin phone as a starting point. The phone could have been white like the iPod with a scroll wheel and a flip top.
