I'm playing an AVI video file in QuickTime and I just noticed that the top of the window, instead of saying the file name, says "LoL".

Seems like it could be a virus of some sort, but Macs don't have those, right?

There has never been a virus in the wild that runs on Mac OS X. The handful of trojans that exist can be easily avoided with some education and common sense and care in what software you install:

I know about the trojans and I don't give my admin pass to anything dodgy.

Though, when I open QT and hit command+I, it said this:

I think it might just be some metadata in the file. It doesn't show up when I get more info in Finder, though.

As long as it's just that file you have nothing to worry about.
