AppAdvisor costs a few bucks but it is a pretty slick app. The app has recommendations and with each a detailed review of the app. I've read many of their reviews for apps I already own... And I would say thery're right on.

Well thought out, easy to use and provides recommendations for a ton of app genre.

Well worth the couple bucks. The advise given can save potential purchasers a lot of money on apps that are later to be found to be useless, lacking, or otherwise.

    Two thumbs up!

I love this app as well. However, still waiting for an iOS4 update. It would be cool to click an app link, be redirected to the store, and quickly switch back to appadvice during the download. It would also be awesome if it had push.

Despite these limitations, it's a useful app.

I have AppAdvice as well, love their news articles, reviews, and new app sections, but I find myself often disagreeing with their App Guides, they seem to relegate apps that I find awesome to just a mention, or not even mentioned at all. Like Pocket Informant is on the very last page mentioned in the 'Beyond' section of task apps, Oxford Deluxe, probably THE ultimate dictionary, isn't even mentioned in their dictionary guide....etc.
