i just bought a macbook this week and ive noticed that it gets quite hot

my istat sais :
-HD: 37 celcius
-cpu a: 70 celcius
-base: 35 celcius
-base2: 35 celcius
-base3: 34 celcius
-heatsink A: 69 celcius
-heatsink B: 57 celcius
-northbridge 1: 56 celcius

this is what it sais at the moment so i dont know if this is the average that my macbook is but it is usually this hot or a tiny bit hotter. at the moment im birning something with imovie so that might not help but even without doing many things, it will get hot.
the fan (under the screen area) is making some sound and you can feel the hot air.

is this a problem?? becasue it really is pissing me off

thanks.

That seems normal to me. Macs run hot. Just don't keep it on your lap and you should be fine.

Normal? 70°C? Wow.. not even my Airport card gets that hot. Granted, I have an aluminium iMac but still..

I'd be afraid to touch the computer at all at those temperatures😱
