ParishM macrumors regular Original poster Sep 10, 2007 #1 has anyone installed the vesa adapter yet ? i read the imac does not open up other than the memory door. so how is it installed ? the rear cover came off the old G5 iMacs so installing the vesa was a snap.

djc6 macrumors 6502a Sep 10, 2007 #2 Here is a list of all of the iMac manuals, I don't see a VESA kit manual for the new iMacs yet: http://www.apple.com/support/manuals/imac/ However, there is a VESA kit install guide for the previous generation - perhaps it installs in the same manner, or will give you an idea how it might work: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iMac_24inch_VesaMountAdapter_InstallGuide.pdf Once you read the manual, its frightening the lengths they went to not have any visible screw holes on the back 🙂
