I'm wondering if you found a solution to this? I also read the link on GHDL. Did you try it? I run Aldec, ActiveHDL, on Vista, in Boot Camp. However, it isn't free. It does run great though! Have you had any success compiling and simulating in the OS x environment yet? Thanks!
