iPod Vid Ipod Scroll Button!!!!

It it just me or is the play/pause button not go down at all? MY menu button goes down the most with a normal click. The center aswell. The fwd and backward go down a bit less, but the play/pause barely goes down..is it broken or supose to be like that or do you think its broken? The button works but you have to press pretty hard on it
