iPod touch Video app crashing

For some reason, the "videos" app on my 3G touch keeps crashing. I will open the app, it will show a blank screen for about 5-10 seconds, then crash. It does it regardless of what video content is loaded. I also tried to play a music video from the music app and that crashed as well. I tried a restore and that has not fixed it.

I would call apple but I don't know what they could do.

Well u restored it and that didn't work so I would say take it to an apple store

I ended up calling Apple-they said the same thing.

Unfortunately, my device is out of warranty, so I hope they will just replace it-which based on my conversation with the tech said could be about 100 bucks-
