In the iMac refresh that is supposed to be imminent, do you think that the $1499 is going to be featuring a 1GB video card, or will it stay a 512MB? That is really the only reason why I am waiting for the refresh so that I can play games in good quality on boot camp. I had the current $1499 model with the 512MB 5670, and it played games well, but I really couldn't put the graphics settings up to more than about low/medium/medium. I guess it just matters what market Apple is trying to appeal to with the $1499 model. What do you all think?

You won't be able to play games "better" just with more VRAM (actually, 512Mb is sufficient for 1080p). You need faster graphics card. As far as I know, Apple has never put a fast card into the mid-range iMac. The refresh will probably feature a slight update from the 5670 though.

The video card memory helps with lots of textures and higher resolutions(necessary for the 27" imac). In your case having twice the ram wouldn't allow you to go to higher settings. You really want a faster GPU.

I really have no guesses as to what they'll put in the 21" imac. I can see a 6950 in the 27". Maybe with a BTO 6970 option.

My guess would be AMD 6750M in high-end 21.5". It's a bit faster than the ATI 5730M (aka 5670). It should also feature GDDR5 which speeds up the performance even more.
