I am writing a book on mudbox-3D digital sculpting. My video card is not working correctly here are my specs
I am using Mac Pro Mac OS X 10.5.6
2 x3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
12 GB 667 MH DDR2 FB-DIMM
ATI Radeon X1900 XT
Dual displays
20 " display
20" Cintiq tablet
I must say there are no specs on Autodesk website for mudbox for mac and video card. I would have thought my video card would have been sufficient, but it is apparently not. So I am asking what others have. Have you upgraded? anyone trying the nvidia Quadro FX4800? It is a shame that I would have to step away from the Radeon graphics card. I thought it might need an update in its driver but there is no update on the site. So what are the options? I have a call into the media at AMD to see if there is something that can be done with the card that I have. I sure hate to have to review it and say. Take out the Radeon card. I am open for suggestions and comments on this subject.
