video chat (isight/ichat) delay-suggestions?

Hi all,
Whenever I talk to my friend on our isights over ichat (video chatting), there's like a 2 second delay, which makes the thing unusable. We're both on wired DSL connections. Any suggestions?

Look in the prefrences for Video, and upgrade to Cable Connection, T1 or faster is the new wave man

Look in the Utilites Folder which is inside the Applications Folder for "Activity Monitor". Open it and see if anything is hogging the CPU. Sometimes there are things like Widgets that will run wild and take up a bunch of operating power.

When this has happened to me, I found it when iChat stated lagging. Just a suggestion.
