Hi

im looking for a free video clipper / cutter. I need to cut small sections out of larger files.
i used filmora but it’s changed into a full suite (not free) and my version seems not to work well with current Mac OS

I only need this simple feature. Would like to b able to name the exported clips

i use it for reviewing analysing a sport

any ideas?

thank

Would iMovie be able to handle the task? iMovie is free and I've used it to cut some parts out of a video earlier this year.

I do use iMovie to put the clips together to make short movies of specific areas. Never used for clipping though. I like something really easy and quick to watch the game and clip what I see. Export to a folder. Then I can share individual clips or import to iMovie to make compilations

I've never done this in iMovie, but can you take a video and take clips out of it and export each clip to a different project of its own? Might not work at all, just an idea to try.

really. dot like like the workflow with QuickTime as when you click trim you have to to find the start and end point again with sliders

iMovie looks long winded too
