Video Conversion Recommendation

Hi All,

I have videos I'm copying from a micro sd card from a inexpensive dash cam video recorder. QuickTime won't open the files, but I can use Parallels Toolbox to convert them just fine (batch conversion FTW). What is a recommended free solution that I could use when my Parallels sub runs out?

Handbrake will probably do it.

What's the format of your videos?

While we are on the subject, trying to convert some FLV files to HEVC using handbrake but it loses the audio. Any suggestions?
