What are the best size and bitrate settings for video conversion for the Touch?

I'm after a good quality picture that I could watch a film on when travelling etc.

Suggestions?

400kbps @ 480x320. Everything else as high as you can make it.

It depends on the aspect ration (4:3 vs. 16:9, etc.) of the source video.
You should keep the size so the aspect ratio is the same.

It terms of the bitrate, you should play with it. I encoded 5 videos, gradually lowering the bitrate, and decided which one is the best for the file size.
