    Hi,

Im looking for a video converter that will let me convert the .mov files from iMovie 11 to different formats so that my media drive, tv and so on can read them....Does anybody know of any software, preferably free that can do this?

    I have a macbook pro....thanks!

HandBrake (as in BRAKING, not BREAKING) can do what you want. It has a lot of presets to choose and it is widely used and recommended.

TCL TV pvr & .bin files

    Howdy Gurus
Is there a software available that will convert the .pvr (which appear to be a header file) and the .bin (where the video is stored) files that my TCL tv records in? If I can extract the video from these formats, I have the necessary software and know-how to do most other things, I just can't seem to find anything to extract the video from the .bin files!

I'm using an intel mac with Snow Leopard if that helps.

    thanks in advance

It's probably not going to be possible. The .bin is a .m2ts file, but encrypted.
