Air Power is dead.

Dead like Braniff Airways

Dead Like Pontiac

Dead Like Compaq

🎵Gone like a '59 Cadillac, it aint never comin' back.🎵

There are a bunch of other videos from other YouTubers who do a 100% better job at explaining the history and technology that goes behind AirPower and why it failed. They also got their hands on testing with the prototypes.
But of course you chose not to cover them until this garbage YouTuber posts something. Absolutely cannot stand him. Stop giving overractiontherapy views.

For those that want to watch more informative videos on this that came out first:

Reminds me of Stargate Universe which came out in 2009, one of the first things they discovered on the ship was a flat surface that charged anything on board. At the time I thought it was cool, because it was of course the ancient scfi tech that the show used. Like a zero point module, of untapped power from subspace. As with all SciFi we expect it not to be real, but in this case Apple proved that future engineering isn't always so easy.

I’m still salty about Apple taking down the 2017 iPhone X keynote because of the AirPower backlash…

We had continuous bands before the loop bands. I had wondered about this when this device was first announced, and was concerned. At the time I had a metal link bracelet and Milanese loop that wouldn’t work unless you unlatched it from one side of the watch. But for all other closed loops, you just turn them inside out onto the other side of the watch.

I see tons of 3 in 1 chargers. It makes zero difference to 99% of people if it's a pad or a stand.
There are tons of 3-in-1 chargers. And, yes, with MagSafe on the iPhone, AirPower doesn't seem as... needed? desirable? missed? as it did before.

However, none of those 3-in-1 chargers do what AirPower was proposing to do.

When AirPower was first announced, it was the thing I wanted. Since then, I've decided I prefer stands anyway (MagSafe or not.) If Apple did get AirPower working and made it available, I probably would not purchase it now, especially if it was very expensive.

Always fun to see this type of stuff. Not my AirPower but I've got a couple
