Video Download from Websites

Was with a friend who had an app on his Mac that allowed him to browse websites through this app and if it had a video on web page to then download and save on hard drive.

Does any one know what app this might have been as cant get in touch with mate till late next week.

There are several add-ons for Firefox that do the same.

I've used this one before and it works well.

It was a separate application not a website or add on for firefox. Have tried some of firefox ones but this app seemed to work great.
