Video Editing Apps Broken

    Final Cut, iMovie and After Effects CS6 are all broken. Says they are not compatible. Hopefully they'll post updates to the apps to make them work again.

    So if you're an editor you probably shouldn't update till Apple gives the apps the green light. Other editing apps like Premiere Pro and Photoshop are working.

    Found the same problem here. There may be a pre-release update coming soon!

    Yeah, never update your main work machine to ANY betas, sometimes catastrophic outcomes arise and Time Machine from 10.10 only work with 10.10 + .

    Logic Pro X works like a charm (once I removed Rogue Amoebae’s InstantOn extension).

    iMovie and Final Cut Pro can be run this way (but they don't feel stable):

    Programs > Right click app > Show package contents > Contents > MacOS > Double click.

    This happens every time with many of the adobe programs, and don't get too excited about an update any time soon. Adobe is very strict on only supporting released software. AEcs6 didn't work at all until on the day of the official release of mavericks.

    Maybe there might be new Final Cut Pro X Cloud? :apple:
