video format *.mov to dvd format

Can anyone tell me what software to use to get the *.mov format into a format that a standard dvd player can pickup.

If ffmpegx or handbrake can't do it, I would be surprised.

Both are free.

I believe that you can convert the movie back into a video_ts folder then burn it back to a normal dvd by using iDVD!!!!

under the file tab, go down to save as video_ts folder,

it does take some time anywhere between 10-20 min, but it is then in a dvd burnable format, pop in a blnk dvd and burn it babay!!


i have had to do this a few times to take movies in the van!!
