Hi,

I used to be able to play video from my old G4 (which had a miromotion video pci card) using its S-video output, connected to the scart input of my TV, which worked perfectly.

Now i have a new Mac Pro, connected a DVI to video cable (see pic), and use the same S-video cable connected to the same scart input, but the TV screen remains black.

What am i doing wrong?
Please help!

I found out why (probably)

I read that this cable only works if you have an ATI X1900 XT video card.
Mine is an NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT

The salesperson at the apple store never told me this cable required a special graphics card! Now the packaging is in the trash and i can't return it.

Anyone have a solution? I want to be able to send video from my Mac Pro to a remote TV.
