video importing

hi, my friend let me borrow his Dazzle 90 video creator thing that lets you take video from a camera using only a/v cables with usb. He uses windows movie maker to capture the clips, i tried using log and capture with Final Cut but it didnt work. Is there any programs on the mac i could use to capture the video? thanks.

I would imagine that the problem is that the Dazzle isn't rocognized by the Mac. This is probably why you can't import it from FCP. From looking on the manufacturers website for the Dazzle, it looks like that device only supports Windows.
