Hi folks,

I have footage from a Drift Ghost Stealth 2 headcam, but the video is black yet there is audio.

Information in Quicktime says the format is:

Ambarella AVC encoder 1920x1080 AAC 48000 hz Stereo L,R
FPS: 29.97

Interestingly enough, the file size is 254.1 MB. I would think that something of this length would be in the 1-3 GBs based on previous recordings.

No issues with previous recordings either.

This issue happened for 3 videos and then we took a video later and it was perfectly fine.

Nothing was blocking the camera lens either.

Any websites or services out there to maybe reveal or show the video?
It's a very neat situation for which the video would be compelling.

TIA!
Cheers,
Keebler

Maybe try a different video player like VLC. Could be that the clip is just corrupted & you may be SOL

Thanks. I've tried a variety of players. Tried ffmpeg and MPEG streamclip.

I think I'm SOL because the file is only 254 mbs where as a 28 min video would be closer to 1-2 GBs :(

I'll keep trying though.

Thanks!

Thanks Gwendolini. I meant to reply back that this didn't work. Great little app though. It said it wouldn't recognize the camera file. :(
