Video Locks Up Browser

Hello, today I was at ESPN.com and it was loading slow, then a window popped up saying something about a script not working. So I pressed to stop the script. This was in firefox by the way. Now everytime I go to a page with a video my browsers lockup and I have to force quit. This is in firefox, safari, and camino. What do I need to do to make them work again?
