utter disappointment

Over the last few Keynotes, Apple never ceased to disappoint me. I don't even...

I need to replace my iPod Touch 4G because of lag and battery wear, so what are my options now?

An iPod Touch 5G with components that were a year old one year ago? So it will be three years old in 2014, just as my iPod Touch 4G is now? But surely they will bring out an iPod Touch with a A6 chip next year, if any... They once were on par with the iPhone, you know...

And then there is the iPhone 5C. Yes, I really like the design and the colors and how it should be much nicer to the hand than the 5S. I hate all those things about the 5S. But again, one year old internals just specwise, let alone the nice new camera and security features. And all that for saving 100€. So it's 600€ instead of 700, barely noticeable. And that's only for the too-small 16GB version.

The iOS7 icons still look like happyily colored crap.
Oh and iWork for new devices only. Great. I'll buy something new asap. No. I just won't get those apps, because I already got all my great Apple stuff in the past.

Well, Apple devices have made my life better and easier in the past, but I'm really just in it for the apps. Everything else is just getting worse.

I've been in love with the iPhone since 2007. Unfortunately, the love is gone. I think I'll take another look at that Nexus 7.

It's available to stream on the Apple TV now too.

He managed to call the iPhone 5s "[perhaps] the most forward thinking phone anyone has ever made" with a straight face. I bet that took some practice.

The new A7 impressed me. I was a bit surprised to see a 64-BIT iPhone. The processing power is a huge upgrade. But then I wondered, what's that really going to change?

The camera is a nice improvement, but I like what the Nokia 1020 does for phone photography more. Changing the aperture from 2.4 to 2.2 is not really a huge difference.

The colors on both the iPhone 5c and 5s seem strange to me. The champagne iPhone just looks wrong to me. Those covers for the iPhone 5c are horrendous.

I don't really see the point of a motion co-processor or fingerprint sensor. I mean, sure, it seems cool... but then I'm locked in for two years.

I have an iPhone 4. It's three years old. I was looking for a good reason to upgrade today and I didn't really find one. The rumor of larger iPhones being released next year didn't help today's announcement. I feel like I can hold out a little longer for something more exciting.

Anyone else notice that at 15:23 apple's stream goes black and comes back, conveniently covering the "nbc" app? Does anyone else find that odd?

Edit-
Blanks out again at 16:10, but seems like theres nothing there... perhaps bad recording to their drives?

I thought this was suspicious as well, but after it happened another three times I figured it was just bad recording.

When I try to watch from the website on my iPad it says the operation could not be completed.

Are you not happy they release new products?

I figured it out... TrueTone flash means "bright day".

(Not happy either. iPhone = forbidden tool of the gods. Man will pay with great floods and locust swarms.)

Gotta get a message to you

Jony Hifive needs a smack on the botty wotty for not standing up to Timmy Whimy on the design front. Nothing really spectacular since iPhone 4 apart from a silly enlarged screen ratio that made it so different from any others out there that it stood out for all the wrong reasons. Tim, let Jony do what he does best and stop interfering, just sell the finished product. :D

I like it, they took some care explaining WHY/HOW Apple sees tech. and its use.
The spec mentality is still very prevalent.

AH!
You are naive if you think people think you are being any serious or truthfull.

But if it is a paid work, look luck.

Is it my connection or is the quality of this recording pretty bad (low res, tearing, etc.)?

I do not think it is connection.
I did catch some lapses.

Too much booze, perhaps?

What the heck did I just read?

Innovated me to now go and check out the competition. Lazy sods couldn't even wow us!

Perhaps you weren't wowed because you read about everything on a rumors forum before anything was officially announced.
