I just converted from Windows, generally everything in OSX is better but for the life of me I can't figure out why none of the available video players remembers it's own window size, SMPlayer, WMP, etc. if you close it with one size, the next time it opens, it'll be that size again.

VLC on OSX - Option doesn't exist
MPlayer OSX Extended - Option doesn't exist
QuickTime Player - Not sure if it exists, can't find after an hour on Google
NicePlayer - Option doesn't exist


This is driving me a little insane, I'm a little OCD about the window size, if anyone could point me in the right direction... you'd save me some hair pulling! Thanks!
 
I had 300 video clips of my friend's wedding, I think my hand would probably break if I had to resize all of them, given that they were taken with all different cameras and all different resolutions

You could try, Wide screen movie player. This is a full screen vid player. There is also, MacVDC X. Good luck.
