What are you trying to play? VLC is more universal and nifty once you get used to it, but some of the stuff I view won't play well on it. I usually use the built in player or iTunes but there is some PC specific stuff that VLC does better.

VLC... it will play anything. It has an EQ, great keyboard command customization. Can’t think of anything I need that it can’t do.
