Video Problem

When I watch a dvd and their is movement i see lines, It looks like this:


Why is this happening.

I have noticed this on some older DVDs I have watched. I think it is just normal.

it is a brand new dvd and it happens all the time

yes that happens with DVDs on occasion.

Happens with anime DVDs, it is due to the way the DVD is made.

I notice it alot with the simpsons and family guy.

Fixing, not sure, It does happen though, espechially with DVD's that are old or have a tv series, I have a DVD recorder and when I play them on a Mac they look grainy and do that wierd movement thing. Its a quality thing, not sure how to fix it at this moment 😕. Its more of a disk quality and the pixels than the Mac itself.

try turning on de-interlace in DVD Player (under the Video Menu) if you're playing it on a Mac

I'm pretty sure (tho it's just by memory) that that fixed it on my simpson DVD's
