Video Recording in 3g?

    Hello, My brother's jailbroke 1st gen iphone can record beautiful video. Do you think Apple will allow older iPhone models to record video like the 3gs? Thanks!

    no, its already been stated

    if you want video, jb is the only way to go

    Nope. But a jailbreak, and a simple .plist file edit will probably enable the video recording in older models. :) We'll see.

    You might want to be more clear and say "3G's" instead of 3gs" because now that gets confusing. Anyway, I highly doubt it because then 3GS buyers will be mad because they bought a phone advertised with video and now their old phone was capable also.
