Beyond a bigger, brighter screen and longer battery life, isn't everything about the Ultra geared towards the “non-average”/extreme/outdoor/adventurer user for whom the design/style is lowest on the totem pole of buying rationale? Hell, maybe a “rough,” blocky function-first style is perfect for the extreme/outdoor enthusiast.
Any critique about the AWU style seems like complaining about the difficulty to park a Ford F350 duallie in a standard Aldi parking lot space…one buys such a truck for a purpose other than convenience when grocery shopping!
