Video screen flickers during playback

I have a user who just got a brand new MacBook Pro, however, he reports that his video screen flashes during playback. Nothing else does this, just when he is playing video. I am thinking possible codec or driver issue. Any thoughts?

Well, his issue is only when playing video. He is going to take it to the apple store so we will see.
