Video will not play in Safari ( Ventura 13.5.1 )

Hi all,

All of a sudden I am unable to playback any video content in Safari ( MacBook Air M1 2022 ), this includes all links Youtube, VOD Netflix etc. As soon as I hit the play button the content plays for a split second then pauses?. FYI I did download Google Chrome but had the same problem!. I have not a clue what to look for to rectify the problem so perhaps someone on this Forum can guide my please. Have an iMac 2019 running Ventura with no such problem?.

For some inexplicable reason videos are now playing normally!, problem solved but do not know how or why.

If the problem returns, try to Disable iCloud Private Relay https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212614 and Hide IP address https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/privacy-sfri35610/mac

If the problem persists, try other DNS servers
DNS settings https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/change-dns-settings-network-preferences-mac-mh14127/mac
public DNS Servers
Cloudflare
1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1
Google
8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4
OpenDNS
208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
