videoconferencing with Windows using iSight

I will soon leave my family for university, with my Macbook, leaving behind three PC's. Only problem is, none of my family members are very skilled at solving problems on them, and mostly I have to help them out. Now I am looking for a way to continue to help, using videochat with my iSight.

I am now looking for the easiest way to realise this. I need programs for Mac and Windows, it doesn't matter which protocol, but I just want it to work.

I have tried a few options, but none of them were very simple to use. And instead of continuing trial-and-error, I would like to hear what more experienced users think of this problem.

although it's been consistently freezing my Firefox on Windows the last few days. You might have btter luck on your Mac. Basically, it tells you how to use AIM on Windows and iChat on OSX to communicate between them.

I have also heard good things about Sightspeed , but I have not used it myself.

Does Skype work with the iSight ?

If it does, I'll take that

Otherwise, I'll go for AIM
