I'm having an interesting issue with iOS7's Videos app.

When I updated to iOS7, all of my TV shows that I purchased over the years were marked as unwatched. I tried marking them watched in iTunes on my Mac, but that wouldn't sync over to my iPad. So yesterday, I had some time to kill, so I started playing each episode that was marked unwatched, moved the scrubber to the end, and clicked done. This worked wonderfully, albeit a bit time consuming, until I ran into a major problem.

I received a warning from iOS I was out of storage space. Apparently, despite me playing the videos from iCloud, all of the videos I started we're being downloaded into some cache. I'm fine with that, but it doesn't seem like there is anyway to clear the cache.

If I go into the Usage page in settings, iOS reports I have no storage space. Under the details section, the Videos app is only taking a few GB from a couple of things I have legitimately stored on my device.

What I need to do now is have iOS clear that cache. I've tried leaving my device plugged in overnight, hoping some cache cleaning routine would run, but this morning I still don't have any space. I've also tried rebooting a number of times.

Does anyone have any idea on how to clear the Videos cache? I have a feeling I can resolve this issue by restoring from an iCloud backup, but I think that's overkill for what should just be a simple dumping of the cache.

And I just figured it out...

The Music app is where the storage was being held. I only had 100MB of Music on my device, but when I removed All Music from the Usage section, I regained 40GB of space! Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
