Does anyone get a problem with some videos that you download. Most work fine but for some it crashes everything and things in my dock get reset and my itunes library stops working and my firefox bookmarks get reset to the original ones that come with it when you download it.

What player and file types are you talking about? You mention Firefox and iTunes, are these Quicktime videos?

I actaually mis read your post. Try and explain the situation more. Yeah, where are they coming from, what player is playing them, and are you certian all this only happens when you play these videos?

I have never heard of something like this.

it can be any movie. i can rip a dvd and then play it in quicktime. i'm certain this only happens when i play them.

because settings for everything gets deleted i think something that saves all these things gets reset.

Mate, your problem sounds pretty quirky. You'll really have to give us more specific information though.
