Is there a way to check the version numbers of my apps from iPhone?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A345 Safari/525.20)

I think the poster was asking about getting the version number from on the iPhone itself. I see it in the "About" info included with some apps, but in others I've downloaded I don't see it anywhere on the phone.

I wish there were a standard place to look it up, like in an "App Manager" utility that would list the name, version, size of all the apps on the phone. Other systems, like Palm, have this.

How to check an iphone app's version number.

If your device is jailbroken you may install an app called AppInfo from cydia. It will allow you to see the version number of all apps you have installed. It also does many other awesome features that would probably make the installer say "I love this app!" or some similar phrase. Happy teching ^_^

In the App Store go to the Updates tab. All the apps that you've ever downloaded and their current versions are listed there.
