I had to change my mail host because of Google's decision to cull the G Suite Legacy product. BTW, I have no issue with this decision. It is Google's choice and I used as a vehicle to further remove my involvement with this company.

However, I use Spark as my email client, across Mac and iOS devices. I changed my client settings on iOS. It would seem this has now been replicated to my Mac's Spark client, presumably by iCloud. However, I cannot verify this through Spark's own "email accounts" option or through macOS's "Internet Accounts" with any screen specifying the IMAP and SMTP settings. Is this possible to view? Maybe a terminal command?

Sorry, I should have explained in more detail. I was aware of this, but clicking the "details" button only shows a description and name, not the technical details of the IMAP and SMTP server configuration.

The OP is correct.
Clicking details in the Internet pref pane reveals essentially... NOTHING about the details of the connection.

I'm wondering WHERE the actual information is stored?
I sense that it's being deliberately hidden from the user...

I think what you see depends on the type of account.

I have a generic IMAP account. When I go to Mail>Preferences>Accounts, select the account, and click the Server Settings tab I see the IMAP and SMTP domains. If I uncheck "Automatically manage connection settings" I can see the ports and TLS/SSL settings.

I have Google accounts and an Exchange one also. Those are less configurable…it seems…probably due to how each handles authentication.

OP: Are you having some kind of mail access issue?
 
I have the same question. And I can use the terminal. Does anybody know which files the data is stored?
 
What @BrianBaughn wrote is correct. Need to go into Mail app Preferences > Accounts if using Apple's apps.

However, what the OP was asking about cannot be done via MacOS's Internet Accounts or via Mail since the Spark app is using their own servers and not anything configured in MacOS. When you setup a Spark account, you hand over to them the account name and password for the email account. Spark servers and apps do the retrieval, sending etc.

To the point, settings for email accounts in Spark are via Spark > Accounts. And appears cannot verify the settings, need to delete the account and re-add to do a pseudo verify.

In general, this will be true with any third party mail client (eg. Edison, Gmail for iOS app), so need to check with developer of the client program where/how this can be done.
