Hi there,
Our office is using an archaic network scanner that only sends scanned images to a mailbox, rather than email addresses. It is set to scan the images as tiff files which works fine in black and white but as soon as you try it in colour, it freaks out and tries to scan them as a jpeg. When you go to retrieve the jpg file from the mailbox and save it into your desktop or wherever, it tries to open it as if it is a tiff and consequently will not recognise it. Unfortunately on the retrieve button in the mailbox, there is no option to convert it, leaving a seemingly confused, impossible to open file.
Please help!
Is there some program or file converter I can use to solve the problem?
Nick.
