I have some downloaded videos on my iphone that I can't access through iphoto or imovie or itunes because it's a download from a website through an app and it doesn't show up when i connect the iphone to the computer. Normally, I would just download it to iphoto like the videos shot with the phone and have it as a file on my computer.
I would like to be able to view and hear the video on a larger screen.
How can I connect the iphone (6) to either an imac or a tv so that I can view the video and listen to it on the larger device?
    Thanks for any advice.

Lightningh to HDMI adapter or use some mirroring device like Apple TV, chrome cast or fire stick.

Yes it is. If your phone is older, you could do this with the 30 pin cable and an adaptor.
Apple TV would be the easiest option and airplay (assuming your iPhone is a 4 or later).
