Viewing angles on a c2d blackbook

Hey are the vertical viewing angles for a c2d macbook supposed to be finnicky? What I mean is unless I'm perfectly eye level with the blackbook the blue lines on itunes only show up on the higher parts of the screen.

Yes, this seems to be a common complaint. I have the same issue with my C2D macbook as well.
